We’ve got lots of virtual (online) activities coming up for SVI members to enjoy, usually via Zoom. We’ve partnered up with some other organisations too, to bring you some interesting offerings.
And we’re taking a few steps into the real world too, as we prepare for in-person activities to slowly start up again.
Contact the office for more information about any of these sessions and to register your interest and/or book your place. We can guide you through the process of connecting via Zoom.

Doing things differently
Supporting you to navigate the ‘new normal’.
We have recently received funding from the Heart of England Community Foundation to run this programme. It starts with a series of virtual Zoom focus groups, giving you the opportunity to tell us what worries and concerns you have about getting back out and doing things. Following the focus groups, we aim to provide members with a one-to-one volunteer helper to assist you to start to do the things you enjoy, that now need to be done in a different way. To find out more about the kinds of help we can offer and how frequently, register to join one of the focus groups:
- Tuesday 25 August – 10.30am to 12pm
- Wednesday 26 August – 5.30pm to 7pm
More Zoom and telephone focus groups will take place during the first week of September please call the office to book a place.
We will keep you updated on post coronavirus developments and please rest assured that as soon as it is safe to do so we will be taking steps to resume our normal services.
