23 to 27 September 2019
Sight matters – don’t turn a blind eye to sight loss.
It’s National Eye Health Week! SVI staff, members and friends are out and about spreading the word about avoidable sight loss and how to look after your eyes.
We are visiting stores in five towns of Sandwell from 10am to 3pm.
Monday 23 September – Asda Cape Hill, Smethwick.
Tuesday 24 September – Sainsbury’s, Blackheath.
Wednesday 25 September – Tesco, Cradley Heath.
Thursday 26 September – Asda, Oldbury.
Friday 27 September – Asda, Great Bridge
We aren’t leaving any of the towns out of our campaign! We visited Morrison’s, Wednesbury in August and we will be at Tesco West Bromwich for World Sight Day on 10 October.
If you would like to volunteer your time to help us, please let us know as soon as you can which times and stores suit you best. The times are 10am until 1pm or 12pm to 3pm throughout the week. We have been asked not to have too many people looking after the stall at any one time, so Call us on 0121 525 4810 or email info@sandwellvisuallyimpaired.org.uk – travel expenses can be claimed for volunteer help.
