Happy New Year. We hope you have enjoyed the festive break and that 2023 will bring you much health and happiness.
We had a busy run up to Christmas. Our festive activities included our popular Active 60 Santa’s turkey sandwich party. Rickie enjoyed the Santa’s party afternoon and said: “This were a great afternoon, I felt upbeat and relaxed.”

Our Annual Forum in late November was our first large face-to-face activity since Covid. Over one hundred SVI members and friends got together at Portway Lifestyle Centre.
We enjoyed talks from our guest speakers: Karren Visser, visually impaired photographer, and Gary Holland, former Sensory Impairment Rehabilitation Officer.
The forum gave members the opportunity to browse a range of exhibition stands too.
Dan said: “Lovely time spent at the AGM. Really great catching up with old friends and making new ones.”
