We’re pleased to announce that we are cautiously restarting some of our in-person group activities. In the lead up to Christmas there’s a lot going on, both in-person and virtually. Kicking off with the Winter Bazaar, we have a whole host of further festive activities in store for you.
Women’s group shopping trip to New Square, West Bromwich – Monday 29 November
Ladies and guests are invited to join us at any stage of the trip.
- 3pm to 3.30pm – meet us at Costa Coffee, New Square for a nice cuppa and sweet treats.
- 3.45pm – shopping the stores with sighted helpers.
- 6.30pm we have booked a table at the Harvester where we can show off our buys.
Just dip in and out of this shopping extravaganza. You can do all or either part of the afternoon/evening. So just let us know what and where you plan to meet us. Please note, you will have to buy your own refreshments and food. Sighted help is on hand.
Active 60 Santa’s turkey sandwich party – Thursday 9 December from 12noon to 2.30pm
Venue: Dartmouth Central Club, Devonshire Drive, West Bromwich B71 4AA
Ho ho ho…Santa’s back, but there’s no sitting on his knee this year, he wants us all to keep Covid safe. Come and enjoy the party in a safe way. Meet your friends and share some festive cheer; it’s been a long time coming! There’s a fee of £5 to attend this event. This includes a plated sandwich buffet, prize draw, a gift from Santa for everyone and tons of Christmas fun. So, bling up in your festive best as Christmas starts here.
Women’s group virtual Christmas celebration – Monday 20 December from 5pm to 7pm
Join us from the comfort of your home for a Zoom get together on the Monday night before Christmas. Pour a glass of Bailey’s or make yourself a hot chocolate, open the sweet tin and be part of the fun. We will have a mini festive quiz and a bit of a sing along. So, don your Christmas jumpers and party hats while we wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
