We have been awarded funding from the Thomas Pocklington Trust to support and train visually impaired people to increase their IT and digital knowledge. Part of this support includes our commissioning a specialist VI IT and digital consultant for four hours a week for 30 weeks.
The right person will be able to support blind and visually impaired people to increase their digital and IT skills in a supportive and empathetic way, valuing the aspirations and potential of visually impaired people. They will be someone who has the ability to communicate and demonstrate digital and IT techniques and skills at a range of levels.
