Sandwell Visually Impaired CIO is a user-led charitable organisation providing support and information to blind and visually impaired people, their families and carers in Sandwell.

Would you like to help the SVI team to run groups and activities like trips out, social groups and members’ meetings?

You will:

• Meet and greet.
• Provide sighted support and sighted guide assistance.
• Help with refreshments preparation and distribution.
• Provide general help throughout the event.

You should have a friendly, welcoming approach and an eagerness to make events and activities enjoyable and fun for all participants.

Time commitment:  Variable depending on events.

Location: SVI office and other locations across Sandwell and beyond.

You will receive sighted guide visual impairment awareness training, safeguarding and basic food hygiene training.

Travel and other out of pocket expenses will be met.
