Accessible version of Sandwell Council’s The Herald Summer 2026

The Summer edition of The Herald is now ready to download, specially prepared by the Council in Microsoft Word to ensure it’s fully accessible for our members.
It features clear headings, adjustable font sizes, and a screen-reader-friendly layout. Download The Herald here: Sandwell Herald Summer 2026 – accessible Word document

The front page features an image of the large arch at the entrance to Tipton-based company Angle Ring, with the headline ‘Bend It Like Sandwell’. This relates to a story in this edition about how Angle Ring helped to make the iconic Wembley Arch.

The cover also includes ways to stay in touch with Sandwell Council news and the council’s postal address.

  • Post: Sandwell Council, PO Box 2374, Oldbury B69 3DE

The front page also features logos for Sandwell Council and the Local Government Chronicle Awards 2026 Winner, as well as teasers to items in this edition around Sandwell being ‘open for business’ and summer fun for children and young people.

If you experience any difficulties accessing the word document, or if you have suggestions to help the Council further improve accessibility, please let us know. Your feedback is always welcome.
