Cassie takes on Three Peaks

Cassie with an SVI banner at the top of Ben NevisOur intrepid Information and Support Worker, Cassie Judd, is taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for SVI. She’s tackling the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales throughout the course of the year.

Cassie tackles the stony slopes of Ben nevisCassie conquered Ben Nevis at the beginning of June. Her next challenge, Scafell Pike in the Lake District, is set for 29 June. She will complete the trio by ascending Mount Snowdon later in the summer.

Cassie said: “I have completed my first mountain, Ben Nevis and it was absolutely fantastic. It was incredibly tough but very rewarding and I can’t wait for the next one!”

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) with a total ascent of 3064 metres (10,052ft).
