Tea and Toast

Join us on the first Wednesday of each month between 10.30am and 12noon. This is an informal session, where we welcome guest speakers who will update you on a range of subjects. Come along to enjoy a cuppa and a round or two of toast, with time to chat with friends too.

On 7 June, Jackie Taylor from Changing Our Lives will join us to talk with people about their views, experiences and ideas on Direct Payments. A Direct Payment is money you can get from the council to pay for your support (if you are eligible for help from adult social care). The council has asked Changing Our Lives to talk to people who have a Direct Payment and those who don’t (but are eligible) to find out what is working well, what isn’t working well and what improvements can be made. So, do come along and have your say.
