Sandwell Visually Impaired CIO (SVI) has a vacancy for a one year, twenty hours a week, part-time Volunteers Coordinator. Salary £26551.20 pro rata (£13.80 per hour).
The successful candidate will be someone who can take the lead on the development of our new volunteers programme. They will implement a service that will support visually impaired and sighted people to undertake worthwhile volunteering across all SVI activities and services.
We want the right person, who will have excellent organisational, planning and people skills. Someone who shares our values of enablement and empowerment, having the ability to inspire and motivate people to recognise and develop their volunteering potential. Someone who can help us to set in place the necessary policies and procedures to deliver an excellent volunteers service to the blind and visually impaired community of Sandwell.
