Active at 60 day trip to Bourton-on-the-Water on Thursday 18 July from 9.30am to 5pm.
In response to members’ requests, we have arranged a day trip to this charming, prize winning village, set in a small valley amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. Bourton-on-the-Water is known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, with its many tiny bridges that cross the river Windrush.
It’s a lovely place to spend a day, strolling around the sites, visiting the attractions, browsing the crafts shops or just watching the world go by over a cuppa or a little tipple.
We will meet at West Bromwich bus station, usual meeting place at 9.30am for a prompt departure, arriving at Bourton-on-the-Water by 11.30am. There we will have welcome refreshments of tea, coffee and a sweet treat. After that the day’s your own to enjoy.
We will meet for our trip home at 3pm, returning to West Bromwich for approximately 5pm.
The cost of the trip to include transport and refreshments will be £20.00 which is payable in advance by paying at one of our up-coming events or by bank transfer.
Call us on 0121 525 4810 or email info@sandwellvisuallyimpaired.org.uk to reserve your place.
