About Peter
Born 1944 in Tipton, when children could be seen but not heard! Enjoyed reading but can’t remember creative writing (owing to not having much imagination!), although I re-wrote a couple of short pantomimes for the Sunday School in the 1970’s, in rhyme so that it was easier for the ‘actors’ to learn the words. I started to write the odd poem during Covid, and have had three published in the Black Country Bugle. I am fairly used to public speaking, though, as I read the lesson in church, and preach a couple of times a month.
It was certainly a challenge when Tony asked about canal poems, but I shall have one, about my own relationship with the canal, to read when I see you on the 29th.
