We welcome Sophie Shuttlewood from Healthwatch Sandwell and Shaleen Sandhu from Diabetes UK. They will provide information and talk with us about diabetes\, pre-diabetes and the services available. \nWe will also be joined by Belinda Kaur\, and her work colleagues Shaazia and William. Back in May Belinda ran the Great Birmingham half marathon to raise funds for SVI. Her employer Redbrain kindly matched the amount she raised\, and we’ve invited them here so we can thank them in person. We are hoping that some of you will cook along in real time. You can choose from a traditional afternoon tea of sandwiches\, cakes and scones or the ‘gentlemen’s afternoon tea’. Booking and payment in advance is required.\nAfternoon tea is £17 per person\, including tea and coffee. Alcoholic drinks are extra\, and you will pay for them yourself on the day.\nThere will be a £5 charge for transport if you want to travel with us.
