DESCRIPTION:Through their Get Families Talking project\, SmartLyte provide free sims and mobile data (as well as talk minutes and texts) to people in communities who need it. It’s like a ‘food bank’ but for internet connectivity data. The project has been supporting individuals and families who are cut off from the basic daily activities most people in our country take for granted.\nSVI is pleased to be working with SmartLyte to support blind and visually impaired people to get connected with this vital service.\nIf you aren’t online at home yet or have a weak broadband connection\, it’s worth coming along to this workshop. Salim of SmartLyte will tell you more about this exciting project aiming to get everyone online.

DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED \nWant to bring out your inner child? Then join us for a play session at the Inflata Nation arena on Wednesday 22 April. It features great activities such as awesome drop and wavy slides\, climbing walls\, huge ball pools to dive into and lots of other inflatable games to get you bouncing around the arena and challenging your nerve\, stamina and balance. Although the most important thing is that you’ll have an exhilaratingly thrilling and awesome amount of FUN! \nWe will meet outside the Pure Gym at Astle Retail Park\, West Bromwich at 11am. We will register at the arena for our 12pm to 1pm bounce\, entrance costs £9.99. \nBe the first to bounce and book your visit by contacting the SVI office to register and make payment by Monday 16th March. If you wish\, you can join us for lunch afterwards at the German Donor Kebab house located on Astle Retail Park at 1.30pm. \nIf you are interested please get in touch as soon as possible to book your place.
