SUMMARY:Riverboat cruise\, Nottingham on Wednesday 24 May
DESCRIPTION:Join SocialEyes for a day trip to the river Trent\, Nottingham. We will board the Princess riverboat for a roast dinner with dessert as we take a leisurely cruise along the Trent\, with audio commentary. The cost of this day out is £30 and includes coach travel\, river cruise\, your meal and tea/coffee. There is a bar on board for those of you who\, at an extra charge\, want to partake of a tipple. \nWe meet for the coach at our usual meeting point in West Bromwich at 9am and expect to arrive back in West Bromwich by 5.45pm. \nBooking and payment in advance for this trip is essential\, so don’t delay.  \n(The SocialEyes group has activities for VI people of all ages. The group has recently received some funding from the Wates Family Enterprise fund. This means that we can run some trips at a subsidised cost to our members. ) \n

DESCRIPTION:SocialEyes goes to the theatre with an audio described matinee performance of Cluedo at the Grand Theatre\, Lichfield Street\, Wolverhampton WV1 1DE. It’s on Wednesday 13 July. The performance starts at 2.30 and ends at 4.30pm. \nTickets for VI member/carer/helper are £38 for you and your companion.  So\, if you are coming alone\, do contact the office and we will match you to someone so that you can get this concessionary price.  This is an audio described performance – description provided by Mind’s Eye. \nWe can travel as a group on public transport\, so contact the office to find out meeting times.  If you would like minibus/taxi transport from West Bromwich Bus Station direct to the theatre there will be an additional charge. \nStarring Michelle Collins as Miss Scarlett\, Cluedo is an exciting\, comedy thriller based on the hit 1985 film Clue and the classic board game loved by generations. This hilarious spoof of a thriller will keep you guessing right up to the finale as both the guests and audience try to work out whodunnit…. with what… and where!
