It’s time for us to get festive and start planning the Sandwell Talking News Christmas Special. This year we’d like SVI members, friends and supporters to join in and give it extra sparkle. We’re excited to announce that two of our many-talented STN volunteer readers, Be Fearless coach Sarah-Ann Cromwell and Music Producer Tim Brinkhurst, have come up with a brilliant idea. They’re inviting you to part of the first ever Sandwell Visually Impaired Christmas single!
Sarah-Ann said: “We are looking for ten or more people to learn and record five lines of a Christmas number which Tim will magically turn into a full song. This is not about being a brilliant singer! We don’t mind if the notes are all in the wrong order. This is about combatting the feeling of isolation by taking part in something as a member of this wonderful community. We need to know that enough people are interested by the end of October.”
