Take a trip with us to the Shakespeare collection at Birmingham Central Library.

On Monday 16 October we will be visiting the Shakespeare Memorial Room at the library. If you’re interested in exploring Shakespeare in an accessible way, come along and join us.

Shakespeare expert Lauren Jansen-Parkes and Librarian Lucy will meet us to explore some of the treasures of the Shakespeare collection. These will include books in braille, moon and embossed works, recordings and tactile objects.

Getting there

Transport is provided from West Bromwich bus station to Birmingham Central Library for this free event. We meet at 9.30am to arrive at the library for 10am. We will leave at 12.30pm to arrive back at West Bromwich at 1pm.

Book your place

Booking is essential. Please call the office on 0121 525 4810 or email info@sandwellvisuallyimpaired.org.ukĀ
