Sandwell Macpac supports Macular Week - 28 and 30 June

Week commencing 27 June is the start of Macular Week to raise awareness and promote the national charity Macular Society, local support groups and the importance of regular eye tests. Sandwell Macular Group, known as Macpac, are hosting two events that week. Many of the Macpac are also members of SVI. Sandwell Macpac are making positivity out of sight loss!

Tesco New Square West Bromwich on 28 June from 10.30am till 2.30pm.

Come along and support the Macpac in their quest to promote all things macular!

Four hours of fun - West Bromwich Central Library on 30 June from 10.30am till 2.30pm.

The Macpac want to put the fun into fund raising. Tombola, craft activities, handmade items and gifts to buy.

The tombola will consist of prizes of all descriptions - so try your luck!

Craft activities will be in full swing - come along and take part, donate £1 make a craft item and take it home.

There will be handmade items and gift ideas to purchase so help raise much needed funds for our local support group for people affected by sight loss due to various macular conditions.

The Macpac will also be at hand if anyone wants information about the support group, national Macular Society and info on eye health in general.

Macpac monthly meetings

If you or someone you know has a macular condition, age related or genetic then please go along to the Macpac's monthly get togethers. They meet on 2nd Tuesday of every month at West Bromwich Central Library around 11am. Then, as a group, go next door to the Town Hall ready for an 11.30am meeting start. The meeting finishes by 1.30pm. A friendly bunch of mixed aged people awaits you!
