More Free IT workshops

Date: Wednesday 13 January 2016
Venue: The Deaf Resource Centre, Dagger Lane, West Bromwich B71 4BB

Due to popular demand, SVI is doing some more work with Action for Blind People’s Online Today Project to offer our members the opportunity to learn more about new and exciting IT developments in smart devices, tablets and mobile phones. Finding out about accessibility; apps and how smart technology features can make life easier.

We are pleased to welcome back SVI’s good friend and IT expert Sunny Bains, who now works for Action for Blind People as their Assistive Technology Co-ordinator in the Midlands. Sunny will be running some more IT workshops for us on Wednesday 13 January.

Following feedback from our September 2015 sessions, we will be running smaller groups of similar knowledge levels and abilities ‑ from absolute beginners, to more confident Smart device users who want to know more.

Attendance is strictly by booking a place in advance to avoid the sessions becoming too large ‑ so don’t delay, call us on 0121 525 4810 as soon as the SVI office reopens on Monday 4 January to reserve a place on the session that best meets your needs.
