SVI Open Meeting on Friday 15 March 2019

Time: 2pm to 4.30pm

Venue: West Bromwich Town Hall, access via rear entrance off Lodge Road, West Bromwich B70 8DY.

We warmly invite you to join us for our March Open Meeting, which is an opportunity to find out about what’s happening locally and nationally for visually impaired people, hear about SVI’s new programmes and give us your feedback.

  • We welcome David Bates of the Federation of the Blind who will tell us all about their history and present work, including topics like shared spaces, cycling on pavements and self-driving autonomous vehicles.
  • Our very own Helen Rourke has kindly offered to speak about her life and the work she does with the Arcadia Theatre group.
  • Refreshments and raffle. Travel costs met if you have a receipt for your journey.

The afternoon is a good chance to catch up with old friends, meet new ones and find out about the new activities SVI have recently launched or have in store for the rest of this year.

Can you help SVI with our fundraising by donating tinned food, cans and bottles for our upcoming tombola?

Call us on 0121 525 4810 or email info@sandwellvisuallyimpaired.org.uk to book your place. Or you can just turn up on the day.
