Fantastic fundraising at Tesco

SVI members and friends volunteered to raise funds over two days at two Tesco stores - Castle Gate Dudley and Cradley Heath. The extremely successful fundraising activity was well-attended by our enthusiastic volunteers.

SVI Development Worker Sandra said: "A big thank you to all the kind customers and staff at Tesco in Dudley and Cradley Heath for supporting Sandwell Visually Impaired at our fundraising collections this week. Huge thanks to all our volunteers who generously gave up their time to help us raise much-needed funds for SVI. A great job done by all, for your generous efforts will help us to carry on the important work we do to offer services to blind and visually impaired people in Sandwell."

Amounts raised were:

Tesco Cradley Heath = £276.41.

Tesco Dudley Castlegate = £251.25

Trustee Georgina said: "SVI have achieved so much in this last year since moving to the Town Hall. Let's carry on with all the we do for blind and visually impaired people in Sandwell. Our organisation is unique and all involved are very passionate in all they do."
