Open Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting

Join us for our SVI Open Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Friday 23 March 2018 from 2pm to 4.30pm.

Venue: West Bromwich Town Hall, off Lodge Road, West Bromwich B70 8DY. The entrance is at the rear of the building.

The afternoon will begin with a short EGM, so that we can formally elect our two new Trustees to our Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) board: Terry Burling and Stephen Keenan. We will also update you on the changes to SVI as we switch over to being a CIO. Hear about what we have already got planned and tell us what you would like to see us doing for you.

The rest of the meeting will be your chance to find out more about the services available for you as visually impaired people in Sandwell.

Speakers include representatives from:

  • Sensory Services – learn about aids and equipment to make independent living easier
  • Welfare Rights – find out about benefits you may be able to claim.

Refreshments and raffle.

Travel costs met if you have a receipt for your journey.
