SVI Members Open Meeting – Wednesday 29 March 2017

Time: 2pm to 4.30pm

Venue: West Bromwich Town Hall, Rear Entrance (Curator’s Door) Off Lodge Road, West Bromwich B70 8DY

You are warmly invited to join us for our SVI Quarterly Members’ Meeting and enjoy a preview tour of our new offices at the Town Hall. You can meet our new friends and colleagues from Adult Day Opportunities, as well as being informed and entertained by our guest speaker from Guide Dogs, Terry Garratt and his puppy in training.

Find out the role of a puppy walker and how the young dog’s life progresses from birth to being matched to a visually impaired person. Learn about the other services Guide Dogs provide, including the ‘My Guide’ Scheme and much more.

Take part in a preview tour of SVI’s new offices at the Town Hall and be updated on the recent Sandwell consultation. Learn about the services we hope to offer and give us more suggestions.

Plenty of help will be on hand to meet and greet you to this new venue. Travel expenses will be paid as long as you have a receipt for your journey. There will be a members’ raffle with the draw taking place at 4pm.

We do hope you will join us – please complete the acceptance slip and return it to us by Friday 24 March. Or call us on 0121 525 4810 or email info@sandwellvisuallyimpaired.org.uk to book your place.
